This is my friends son, i see him about once/twice a month, i thought i'd take a few photos next time i saw him.

I'm more of a sports photographer or artistic, i need to improve on shooting people.

Sorry, for me they are just snaps. A cute kid that'd make a good subject.

For me No 1 is the best but the angle is all wrong, great expression though.

No 2 looks soft or slightly oof and the composition and bg is a bit messy.

No 3 again a great expression well caught but bg stuff is distracting and it's soft (soft does sometimes work with portraits though).

No 4 looks like a wb problem here but it is a good natural expression.

Sorry if this sounds harsh. Keep at it

Thats cool but if he aint gonna oblige you can make them better pics by changing your angles and cropping and cloning out distracting stuff in PP. It'll make the end result a lot more pleasing
