Has anyone ever adjusted the focusing on their D80/D90 themselves?

I fear my D90 may have a back focus issue. Ive had all my lenses calibrated and they work fine on my mates D300 which leads me to believe that the D90 may have a problem.

Ive found posts on the web where people have successfully adjusted the focus on the D90 themselves with a 2mm allen key

Think you would be rather brave to attempt that. Real chance you could mess it up big time.
