Hawthorn Shield Bug

Here's a close-up of one I got last week or so, think it's a Hawthorn shield bug (or a birch shield bug)?

I quite like it as it was on a dead leaf so the green stands out. Can't remember what the tree was (sure it had red berrys on it)

Nice find, you could do with a bit more magnification but I guess you know that anyway. Good sharpness and exposure

I know .. lol, I'd have loved to had a better closeup, but was limited with the lens I had on my Olympus E-410.

Yeah, its a nice snap, colours are nice, better than it looked through the eye piece.
