Cheers,

2, 3 and 5 are very good. no1 looks very fake, almost like the car has been added to the background. The sky is also a bit strange. I like how the processing has brought out the detail behind the grill in no4 too (y)

Cheers, the detail behind the grill in #4 is on the original image, before process :);)

Would love to see the standard shots of 1 and 2. As shown 5 and 6 would probably be my favourites but that's because I don't really care for the HDR processing and they're the most natural looking, but each to their own :) Welcome aboard :)

Nice site by the way (y)

Where on earth were you standing for #1 and 4? :puke: I like the dramatic impact.

right next to were the cars would be in a split second, had to shoot and run, cleared away a little area just before so i had room to run (y)

Cheers,

all look way too overprocessed to me like they're out of a computer game

They are superb - all of them. Although I am a fan of HDR when done well. And I think these are well done. Composition wise the first 5 are way stronger than the final 2.

I've long been of the view that there is good material to be had by HDR'ing motorsport pics. Hope you don't mind the link elsewhere, but check out this flickr set.

(I'll remove the link if you wish)

I really like #2 and #5, although I don't know if I'd like them any less if they weren't HDR.

I'm afraid I think the rest look a bit flat and, in some cases, fake.

(In any case, I'd never, ever be able to take shots like that. So I'm a bit like a football fan screaming at the TV.)

#5 is the only one of these which I think works as a hdr I would tone it down a bit and bring back a bit of the shadows though personally.

The rest I think are a little bit overdone as the whites are a mid grey tone. I've tried hdr'ing a few rally shots before and I find it can be quite hit and miss as to what images take the HDR work well and what ones dont.

non of them work for me, unlike the originals which are great (in the other thread) they look fake and overdone to me, as mentioned earlier like a computer game

worth having a go though!

I think these are bloody great! They're OTT, which is obviously intentional :)

Really love #2... These would sell really well to the general public, who don't care about whether photos are, HDR, OTT or any other acronyms you care to mention, they only care about what would look good on a wall etc

big (y) from me :D

I think you have killed the golden goose I am afraid. I can tell they are great shots however the processing does not fully work. In places it does but you have not spent enough time (IMO) to complete the process leaving these rather gawdy images.

I am only being this hard because I bet the originals are stunning!

Number 2 is my favourite, Subaru Impreza WRC, the blue against the dark background looks good, great contrast. As said , would like to see the originals.
