Hello everyone. Decided to join up today, forum is great. Been into photography man and boy, and have just gone digital!!! Got a D80 and selection of lenses (sigma 135mm-400mm, wow!!) after owning Yashica and Contax for years, never thought I`d go autofocus let alone digital.

can i ask what made you choose the d80?
held one myself today and it felt good, did you consider any other models before you settled on that, if so what swung it for you?

I was originally going to buy a K10 but after trying both I felt happier with the D80, and as I was changing systems I felt that the Nikon range had more scope.
