My friend has a 1D mrk II and has lost the charger where can he get one from.

I take it they're completely different than 20/30D charger?
 
7dayshop do a universal one that you then get a plate for for each battery type. Not sure if they do it for that camera but worth a look.

What battery does it use? The newer versions use a different battery.
 
The battery that it should use is an NP-E3 there is an auction on ebay at the moment for TWO batteries and ONE charger for this type and a buy-it-now for £150 for the charger on its own.
 
Yea Bob as rare a rocking horse dung:D, he is gutted, it may be cheaper to buy a knackered camera with accessories than the charger alone.:gag:
