HELP !!

I have an Epson p2000 photo veiwer ... i was selling it so i formatted it .. i thought it would just delete my data and the operating system would be on a separate part of the drive .. No such luck

i now get a message saying press the reset button .. which does nothing other than going back to press reset

has anyone got any ideas

The p.c dosn't see it and have tried firmware update via cf card ...

Wow just read the posts on that link and I cannot believe that epson didnt build in some kind of "Whoa there Neddy" screen with a warning in huge neon letters saying "This will screw up your unit" (or do they ?). Then of course they wouldn't be able to rip you off for £150. Thats just nasty.

Cheers for the link .. keeping fingers crossed ..
other than that i have a door stop ..

.. I don't see why they want £150 , why not surply the os disk with it , or as with a p.c a way to press a button to roll it back .. i can think of a few words for epson .. It's like with their printers .. They will print so many times then you get the error message saying service , But i know the way round that little one ..
