Help me I'm panicking....my Sigma 70-200mm f2.8

I'm pulling my hair out at the moment as I was just playing around with my Sigma 70-200mm f2.8 APO DG Macro HSM II and I noticed that there isnt a switch for the internal motor.

I had a look at the instruction manual and it clearly show's a switch on the base of the lens.

I've also looked on both these sites and the switch is in both images.

I bought mine from warehouse express and I'm really worried that the wrong lens was in the box now. As the box shows HSM II on it aswell.

Any Sigma 70-200 f2.8 owners able to tell me the if their one has a switch on the body.

Canon versions have the switch, Nikon versions don't

I think the some of the versions for other systems (which shares the instruction manual) have the switch, but the Nikon doesn't.

Dal, it's because Nikon's have the focus mode select switch near the lens mount.

specialman - I thought I had a problem as the nikon lenses that I have also have a switch on them aswell.

I'm glad I've got the right one though. The Panic is over lol

Because you overide the AF on the body with Nikon, I have the MKI and its the same

The Sigma 50mm f/1.4 has the switch on a Nikon mount.
