Help Needed ASAP (LENS)

Hi guys
Going to airshow this weekend and hiring a lens from stuart @ lens for hire.
Trouble is im stuck between these:

Canon 300mm F4 L IS
Canon 400mm F5.6 L
Canon 100-400 L IS

I will be using it on my 7d & 600d, also hiring the canon 1.4x TC III to use with either lens.

Please help :help:

I would go with the 100-400, the others are not much use if you need 200mm.
I would not bother with the 1.4 TC unless you go for the 300f4 as you may find that neither of the others will AF,although some people say they will and others can't get it to work.
My 7D would not AF with my 100-400 +1.4TC

Ive gone for the Canon 300mm F4 L IS + 1.4XIII TC.
I'll have the option to use a sigma 50-500 so that will cover the canon 100-400. And ive never used a prime so will be a learning curve for me also.

I used my Sigma 150-500 OS and the wifes 120-400 OS last year at Waddington airshow and just looking through my folder I was way under 300mm on most of the multiple planes and the larger ones. Most of the smaller planes I was between 400 and 500mm and that was on my 5D3. I used the 120-400 on the 60D I had at the time so you may well find you need the Sigma 50-500 on one body to get the best from the day. I hope you have some good weather for it and I'm looking forward to seeing some of the shots on here.
