Help needed asap

my domain name hull-photography is the problem

i have just got a letter through my door stating hull-photography.com is up for renewal on feb the 9th 2010

now here is my problem i bought it for one year of 123 - reg around feb -april this year

so why is some company telling me i have to renew with them and its not 123 - reg

there saying renew with them

company name is domain renewal group with a us phone number but a uk adress in london

can nay one help with this of course i am going to stay with 123 - reg but why is some company sending me letters

Ignore it, just renew through 123-reg the option should be there in your control panel. I get letters from american domain renewals to renew my .co.uks lol

thanks guys i thought it was just a bin job have several domain names with 123 reg and never recived a letter like this

its a scam.

Send out an official looking invoice and hope people pay. Obviously it works otherwise it wouldn't happen. Ignore it.

Likewise anything that pertains to be some sort of 'free' directory listing which upon close reading of the small print actually means you spend quite a lot.

scamtastic.. youll probably get emails along the same lines at some point.. or that someone wants to register yourdomain.jp/.ch/.be/.tv etc.
