Help on C-PL Filters

I am confused. I am being told that B+W C-PL Filter have no front thread, yet I have an older one that does. If this is true, what would be a good alternative? Hoya Pro1 Digital? Any other suggestions?

Some filters don't have front threads, to make them slimmer and prevent vignetting with super-wide lenses. But most filters do, and it's rarely a probelm.

Hoya Pro-1 is very good, I think Hoya HD even better.
