I require advice from you people of knowledge if you would be so kind....
I am not a beginner as far as photography goes, more an intermediate.
I have £2000 to spend on a new Camera and 2 or 3 lenses if possible. I have been looking at Nikon, I am into Macro Photography and have just started dabbling in Portraiture. I was looking at the new D7000 vs the D300's. The lenses I would like to get are a 1.4 (I believe there are 2 to choose from, D or G) and a Macro Lens (It is between the Nikon 105 f2.8 AF-S VR IF ED Micro or the Tamron 90mm f2.8 SP Di).
Today someone suggested I get the Nikon 3100 plus the above lenses and use the difference to get the Sigma or Tamron 70-200mm f2.8.
Does anyone have any positive experiences using any of the above or can anyone suggest something Different, this will be my first experience using Nikon equipment.
