Help to identify this bird

Hi

I took this earlier at Old Moor RSPB, but it was a bit far away for a decent shot, so had to crop in a bit.

Can anyone identify this please, my guess is either a female chaffinch or female Linnet, but I could be wrong on all counts.

I think it maybe a Male Linnet ?

I agree its a male linnet it looks a bit too red for a female,

Thanks - well pleased first time I've seen a Linnet, I didn't pay much heed at first as there were a lot of Chaffinch around so just thought it was part of that chaffinch group. Wasn't until I cropped in I noticed it looked a bit different.
