Help with fitting a flash mount umbrella bracket to a stand with speedlite

Hi, Im driving myself insane

Ive got these items:

a couple of these

and a couple of TT520 speedlites. Id really like to get these fitted together so I can get some better indoor lighting, but the bracket totally loses me :bonk:

Ive tried youtube and cant seem to find anything and was just wondering if anyone else has an explanation how I can fit the bracket so I can put a couple of umbrellas on there while the stand holds my tt520s. Words with PICTURES most appreciated

For a start don't fit the brackets to the stand this way round. Turn them the other way up.

The the flash simply fits on top and the rod of the umbrella goes through the hole in the middle. Simple.

Sometimes the light stands have a different thread to the bracket but one or the other should come with an adaptor.
