nice, really good expression in the horse, looks kinda sad but caring.
 
Nice job - well exposed and well -chosen viewpoint. Just clone out those bits of foliage at the bottom and get it framed. :thumb:
 
Did you balance a peppermint on the lens?

Not been here for a while. Holidays and then work to catch up on so very pleased to come back to pictures like this.

My daughter always wants pictures of her horse but I never come up with anything classy like this.

About 4pm on Sunday afternoon... going to pick my youngest son up from work and passed a field with lots of scruffy looking horses and not much grass.
This guy was the boss I reckon..he was first over to see what I was up to! And looked like quite a "wild thing".

I crouched down, took the shot upwards in 'manual' and metered from the sky behind. F10, 1/400", 28mm, ISO200, Partial metering.

No flash, no reflector.
