Thought I would take the opportunity to say hello as I only joined today; nice site.:)

I notice a few references to a Flickr account in the threads, can someone enlighten me as to what this is?
 
I can't normally offer any help but being relatively new at this myself I have created my own Flickr account and it's fab, it is basically a way of uploading your pics so family, friends and complete strangers can view them. You can set your own copyright etc so the pics can't be copied but it means you have your own web address to give to people who you want to view your pics. Hope this makes sense. People can also comment on the pictures you upload. :) Ps Hi, I only joined today too!
 
Hello :)

Flickr is one of many online photo sharing sites. They all give you a little space with restrictions for free and offer more space with less restrictions for an annual fee. Googles' picasa gives you 1Gb of free web album space.
