Its a shame your position has cut off this chaps beak, wing tip and lower body. The subject matter has the potential to give a shot that makes people go wow but the way its been captured here has removed to many of the items needed to make it complete.
Take some more time out of your two week break and try again. I am sure you will get a much better result.
