Hi,

Glad to meet you all. I’ve been a hobbyist photographer for the past decade or so. These days, I find myself very limited with time and most of my photography is taking pics of the kids on my phone

Currently shooting with a Sony A7ii with my go to lenses being my 16-35mm 2.8 GM and 85mm 1.8. Still, it’s quite impractical for me to carry this around so looking in to down sizing probably to a A6700 or similar.

I’d be interested to hear from others who have taken similar paths.

I swapped my Canon gear for Fuji, currently I use a XT-5. I do use a Sony RX100 and a RX10.

I don't carry my DSLR just in case I see something I want to shoot. I carry a point and shoot in a pouch on my belt, pretty darn light. I see something I might want the DSLR for I go back with it!
