Hi there, I'm looking for insurance to cover my camera and lenses for an upcoming holiday (just over a week) to Panama. :D My gears not that valuable (prob bout £1000) but I can't afford to replace anything if something gets damaged or stolen.

At home my uni insurance covers it but I will need insurance for the trip. All the companies I've looked at (such as photoguard) seemed to suggest coverage on a yearly basis.

Any recommendations?

If you have home insurance, give them a call.
I am with MoreThan. My camera/lens and so on are covered upto the value of £2500 out of the house. Incs Loss, damage, theft etc..
I also asked about my holiday in a week to Spain. I am covered abroad for upto 60days.

So thats good!

I'm MoreThan as well. Had to make a claim a few years back and they were superb over it (though the claim was in this country).
