I've noticed this Great Tit about for a week or two but never managed to get a good enough view to tell if he actually only had one leg or not. Well on Sunday he obligingly perch about 15 feet away and he definitely only has one, I couldn't even see a stump.

Could he have been born like this?

Didn't seem to be struggling at all and looked in lovely condition as well.

As birds spend most of their resting time on one leg I doubt that it bothers it too much
Landing might be a bit of an issue though
