Horses, Blue Tit and a couple of clowns

Just messing about with the 105mm I picked up a couple of weeks ago. Liking the sharpness but a tiny bit disappointed with the purple fringing it shows wide open with high contrast subjects.

What make of lens is it? Nikon or Sigma?

I've got a Sigma 105 EX, but I've not tested it wide open like that. Is that the purple fringing on the clown's face and hair. That's amazing, but not in a good way.

It's the Nikon. The bit's you're seeing there are just reflections from the windows. They were taken under tungsten so by fixing the WB they've gone a bit blue

Ah - I'm glad about that. Thought that was pretty extreme
