Horsetails - I hate the damn things, though that's a good capture.

Supposed to be the oldest plant on the planet, even older than the 'monkey puzzle tree', and very highly evolved, which, I'm told, is why it's almost impossible to eradicate the damned things once they get a hold. I 'kill' hundreds each year, but they always come back:bang:

Your right they are hard to eradicate, talking to an expert on plants etc the other day about these and he said they had found roots at 8mtrs down.
