How can I get Canon rebate.

Hi all,

Canon USA has a 200 dollar mail in rebate on their 5DIII starting tomorrow. I was about to buy one on ebay but I was wondering how that rebate works. Will I still get the rebate if the seller is not an authorized Canon dealer? Is there something that the seller has to give me (rebate card) in order for me to get this rebate? Thanks for your help.
 
The terms state that it has to be from an authourised Canon dealer.
The rebate is an American Express card that is valid in the USA.
