Taken at Seatton Cliffs Arbroath quite high up.
The whole stretch of North Eastern Scottish coastline was battered by a tsunami hundreds of thousands of years ago when a large section of land collapsed into the sea in Norway.
Also the aftermath of the last Ice Age raised the land level a good distance up as the weight of the ice was removed.
These pebbles must have been at sea level at some point!
