How to check shutter count on 5D3

Anyone know the best way to check the shutter count of my new 5D3? I am on mac so cannot use eoscount. I am sure it is fine but with the stories I just want to have peace of mind.

Any help appreciated

Tried camerashuttercount but would not work. TBH I trust where I bought it from so will just stop being paranoid.

Just been a couple floating around, mainly from Digital Rev. Bought from Kerso and trust him so just being stupid.

Ah I see. If it looks, smells and feels new, it probably is.

If you get FoCal, a program for doing MFA, this will give you the shutter count.
I'm not suggesting to buy it just for this, but if you ever feel you need to buy software to MFA this is a nice extra.

Yes, FoCal is a great programme, well worth the money for MFA as well as an accurate shutter count.

one thing you can do is install magic lantern thats what i did on my 7d to check it when i got it

I could never get myshuttercount to work on either my 5D3 or my 7D. I don't know if it was me doing something wrong or whatever. Anyway, I tried www.eoscount.com and it's been perfectly accurate for me on both bodies. I don't use LiveView and I don't know if the shutter count rises extra when you do, I know it does with some cameras, but it's been dead on for me.
