How to password protect a webpage.

Hi all.

Just wondering those who have done this or have knowledge of the code.

How do you password protect a certain webpage. Such as pages for clients etc..

If you can help me with that. I will be quite gratefull.

You would need to have a log-in page, maybe on the home page, prior to the page you wanted secure - successful login would give the user access to all designated pages - no login would only give access to some pages

google htaccess and you should find loads of tutorials on how to protect pages and folders.

But if you are using a content management system for hosting then read the manual for creating users and profiles etc.
