How to remove entertainment space

I bought one of those cheap android tablets (just for my security cameras). On the Home Screen there an annoying swipe right tab that takes you to entertainment space.
not a problem, except I want to delete it because I can’t .Maybe some of you understand
I have got as far as I can disable it. I can’t stop it from swiping, but if I do any of these a dark outline of where the tab was is still there.
How do I get rid of it completely.

Never seen these before. I went for the nova one as that seems very popular in reviews

I have used nova in the past ona Tesco Hudl but my wife and I have both Poco phones, and it's sometimes important that she can use my phone without it being too unfamiliar. She is very good professionally with some applications like excel, but Android is highly unintuitive for her
