Not a bad attempt, lovely colours, just feel the composition is a bit bland. Everything is central and the shore seems to cut the picture in half, perhaps a panoramic crop cutting out some of the water and sky by be benficial.
Nice scene though, and well exposed, well done.

Thanks for that. It was a bloody cold day as well.
I like the depth of colour of the river and has had no post editing at all.
