So as a Christmas and birthday present from the wife, she's going to buy me a new body (camera body).
At the moment I've got a canon 1100d a 18-55 stm and a tamron sp 70-300.
I mostly take photo's of wildlife, horses, pets, (moving targets really).
I also do a bit of landscape and portrait. This is all for my personal enjoyment and a bit of camera club competition fun.
I've read and read many, many reviews and comparisons of various canon cameras. I've got about £400-£450 to spend, so was thinking of getting a used 7d (can't afford a mark ii) or a 700d. I know both would be an improvement on my current camera but really can't decide which to go for. The 7d will be used and older technology v 700d new with a warranty. I'm not fussed about Tilt screens, wifi, etc.
For me it's about what will do the job best.
Once I've got the new camera, I will to then start buying better lenses.
I also looked at the 70d and 760d but they're out of my price range. I would rather spend any future money on lenses. I would like to stick to canon. I will probably wait until after new year before I but anything, there may be some better deals around then.
If you've made it this far through my ramblings, well done. If you leave any comments and advise, thank you.
