I Finally Got One !!

Havent a clue what type of bird this is. I assume a Buzzard or Hawk of some sort but i have seen a few over the past few days.
Having been armed with only a Nikon 70 - 300mm G i was never going to get anything great and anything i have shot before today has always been deleted.
I think this is about the best i can get from the Lens and i must confess im pretty pleased with it.

I'd say it's a buzzard. Agree about the cropping, good capture though.

Yup, I'd say a buzzard too. Not a bad pic - sod's law says they always fly off just as you get them lined up.

There's one that I see nearly every week from my office window. Pity I'm not allowed my camera on site
