Yes
By it, I mean a Nikon D70 with 18-70mm lens. I also got a 1gb Sandisk Ultra II.

Total price £780 less £100 cashback - which the shop said they would arrange for me. How nice is that?

I had a good feel of both the Canon 350D and 20D, but neither felt right in my hand. The grip on both cameras was too small. The Nikon felt good and chunky. I think the body is lighter than a 20D, but the kit lens means the it actually weighs a fair bit more. The kit lens on the D70 is really quite heavy.

Anyway, I'm quite pleased with it so far!

Right, I'm off to play! :D

well done m8

i'm glad to see the Quality kit is wining through, lol

This camera will take me a while to learn, but I'm liking it so far. :)

nice pic m8,
not bad at all for a start with the D70,

are you aware that there is a firmware upgrade available for our camera's, it addresses a few AF issues as well as changing the look of the menu screens and a few other tweeks in the camera's firmware ( the camera's hardware software drivers )

there is a link on here somewhere, and its easy to do, i have done mine and a few others have to,

you can see what version you re running by using the ' spanner ' in the menu and scriling to firmware ,

the new version is ' 2 ' anything below that and the upgrade would be usefull
hope this helps
