So much saving up from print sales etc., but I have finally earned enough to justify buying myself a beautiful Nikon D4.

Can't wait to get outside with it tomorrow...

I have 2 hours to wait until the battery charges so I couldn't resist the temptation to post my excitement :D:p:p

Very nice. I was tempted to go for one a few months back, but went for the D800E + a 24-70 2.8 instead.

The batteries charged up, and it is a stunning camera. It feels so powerful, very different feel to the D700. Didn't expect that!

So as a 17 year old lad, you've got a big enough and good enough portfolio, and sold enough prints to buy a D4?

That is friggin amazing! Very well done indeed. You will go far :)

You could teach those kids on Young Apprentice a thing or two :thumbs:

Reminds me of my first business marketing venture, some 40 years ago. I hand printed 100 copies of a rather good (if I say so myself :D) black & white kiddy portrait, my dad printed a few words and contact details on the back, and I put them through every letter box in my street. Zero response! It was an early lesson :lol:
