I have a theme in mind, but need models for it, and an area to shoot.

I thought I would use some students by advertising around my local university, anyone else done this?

Are there any releases I need to get signed for using someones image?

Any pitfalls I need to take into consideration?

If its not for commercial use I dont think i would need insurance or any of the kind would I?

Insurance is optional and if it's not for commercial use then you don't need a model release either.

However, it's always good to get model releases signed just in case you ever want to sell the images and insurance may help reassure you, but for a one off, I doubt I'd bother.
