I wish the clouds had breaks in them. It would have made the sky a lot more interesting than the constant featureless grey.

Nice shot #1, shame about the sky. I like the way the grey rocks lead you to the moss topped ones, though I reckon the foreground could be cropped from the bottom to where the two rocks on the right start.

Looks like you used a hard ND grad?

Like the colour of the first one but prefer the composition of 2.

It may have been dull but a polariser to reduce the water reflection may have helped.
