I ned a remote flash trigger (canon)

Hey guys, can anyone recommend me a remote trigger that will work with my canon 40D and canon 420ex, any suggestions?

Oh and it doesn't HAVE to break the bank!

It all depends on whether you want to retain E-TTL. If you're happy to set the flash manually then a set of RF602/603 will do the job nicely, however if you insist on going down the TTL route then your looking at spending about 20 times as much on a set of Pocket Wizards....

No, you can't. It also iirc goes to sleep really quickly on triggers, hence why no-one really uses them for off-camera work.

Ok, so if I got an rf603 trigger kit this would trigger my 420ex, but not really ideal due to lack of control, but either these triggers I can usr the nikon sb24 off camera, and 420ex on camera?
