A few from this afternoon. I've been feeling a bit down today so I forced myself to go out for an hour or two and it cheered me up. I love photography and birds.

This is not a great shot but I tried for ages to get one of the BT's fighting but it had gone a bit grey by the time I got this so shutter speed could do with being a bit faster.

Next 2 are just nicely posing Blueys.

And finally my favourite, a Dunnock singing away just because he could.

Thanks for looking and any c&c is always welcome.

Cheers

Absolutely fantastic set! Composition on all are great! Nice sharpness and DoF with the Dunnock! (y) You've hit the buffalo with these ones!

Why thank you Toby, very kind of you to say so.

Thanks Rich.

Shot two lacks a little sparkle because the eye is lost in the black eye stripe.
Shot three has excellent detail but is cropped a bit tight.
Shot four is nicely done with quite difficult lighting.
The scrapping bluetits is the winner for me. (y)

A lovely set of pics - great action shot with #1.

Thanks Linda, I want to try and get a better one than this but they move that flippin' fast......

Thanks Mike. Yes, your right about 2 never spotted that.
I usually leave a little more room around the bird but with this one the detail was so sharp I wanted to show it off.
I'm pleased with 4, as you say the lighting was problematic.
The fight is ok but I need to get a better one.

Excellent set has #3 only got one leg ?

No he has 2 legs but the left one was on the stumpy twig.

Great capture of the punch-up
Thanks Ken, as above needs improvement I will be going back this afternoon if the sun stays out.

Cheers
