Not sharp, Jerry.

Focal length 500mm with a shutter speed of only 1/60th. Too much to ask of the camera I think.

Good effort at that focal length with 1/60th. Just imagine what you can do with a faster shutter speed. The D300s is a very capable camera at high ISO don't be affraid to crank it up a bit to get a faster shutter speed.

Thanks for the C&C. I am just getting used to the D300s and I do shy away from high ISO, a habit I can't seem to break. I posted mainly for the funny expression, but do appreciate any improvements to technique.
