Icicles

Well, as it has snowed, I have done what many other people have done and headed outside. But this time I decided to play around with my brothers Macro setup and for the first time, shoot in RAW.

This is what I got.

Shot with a nikon D40, Tamron 105mm Macro and a Sigma Ring Flash

Certainly is, I gave up on the snow and headed inside for photography today

Looks great 1 and 3 are my favs. Is the droplet frozen in 3..?

Thanks, I think it was either on its way to being melted, or was just freezing again. There is an awesome swirlishness on the surface because of it...

Cheers, the more I look at #3, the more I like it and I am running out of space on the wall!

Taking these photos has definitely got me toying with the idea of a Macro lens
