Anyone got it working yet?

When I go into itunes/preferences/store/auto downloads I only have the option of choosing apps or books on both my mac and my iphone.

The support pages on itunes say there should be an option for music too, but I deffo don't have it.

Apple say icloud is available now, but it a clear sky for me :shrug:
 
the option to tick music in itunes>prefs>store has now appeared this morning :thumbs:

and i've signed into iCloud too - but you need Lion 10.7.2 to set it up which isn't out yet in the UK

nor is iOS5 yet :thumbsdown:

i still can't find any reference to the UK and whether or not they have sorted out their poxy licensing issues yet for itunes cloud/itunes match :bang:

I was thinking that, they were making big noises about a feature that we can't use.

I have Gold Masters of IOS5 on the iPhone and 10.7.2 on the Mac. All seems to work for me. It migrated my MobileMe email and Calender across perfectly. Been running for nearly a week now and no problems.
In iTunes 10.5 the box is there to tick for music.
 
the option to tick the music downloads has turned up on both my iphone and itunes,anyone got ios 5downloading yet?
 
Been downloading 5 for about 10 mins on 50MB bb - estimates 37 mins remaining :gag:
 
it's on its way for me now.......i'm expecting my lowly 3gs to grind to a halt under the weight :D
 
iPad and iPhone done in 30 minutes today all is working well sofar, touchwood!!!!!!!!!
 
You can't backup this iPad/iPhone in the Cloud because there is not enough storage available. Please purchase more storage for just £70 a year... Errr... I think not!... I have 8TB of storage in my PC and I'll sooner spent that money on other things thank you very much!

I've just had that too - thing is i don't know what it is trying to back up that is so big !!
 
Back it up to your computer dont back up with icloud!!!! Use icloud for data transfers of photos and other things dont use it as a back up system. Should help.
 
The Cloud...Buy an app and it downloads to all your devices, take a photo and it downloads to all devices... "it just works".
Sure.... in the video, it works very nicely indeed but, I took a picture of my son with my iPhone last night and, I think he may get it in his iPad by the time he is ready to retire. As for the apps, I bought several (free) apps last night and, none of them have downloaded anywhere else. Oh well, nice idea shame it does not quite work yet!
 
U domt buy an app ots free software and it works wothin 1 minute of adding a photo it hits all 3 of my devices
 
It took about 1 minute for my first iphone photo to show up on my iPad. I bought several apps on the iPad and they showed up straight away on the phone. Same for reminders.
 
Well. the pictures finally arrived today, and it seems, it is now faster. It now takes 5 to 10 minutes for pictures to hit other devices. Still, the apps and newsstand subs have not been downloaded to any of my other 3 devices.
 
Why back up your device to the icloud anyway!!!! Waste of space and storage use it for data and photos, only back up on the pc or mac. Much MUCH safer
 
Downloaded it lastnight, seems to work well to me, very impressed.

Agreed, 5gb of pics is quite alot and also dosent make apple any richer :-)
