It's one of the longhorn or soldier beetles not sure what one though. nice shot BTW ;)

Looks like a Cardinal Beetle Pyrochroa Coccinea according to the Collins Gem pocket book of insects (ISBN 978-0-00-714624-6). A great handy little reference you can carry around in your bag and does not take up too much space.
