I don't normally ask for ID's but this little fella has me stumped, taken at snettisham this morning, I'm thinking maybe a juv whinchat?

Not a clue on little birds, but I love the shot, especially the rainy atmosphere to it.............(y)

I did look at dunnocks but it seemed larger and a bit more svelt than out local ones, maybe it was just because it was drenched! It was also perched high on the top of these shrubs all the time, didn't see it on the ground once

Young dunnock, no doubt. They do not spend ALL of their time on the ground. ;)
 
Any chance you can post the aperture, iso and shutter speed?

This is totally out of my photography zone and I'd be interested.

Any guesses before the answer is posted??
 
I'll check in the morning for you Barry, feel free to guess in the meantime.

It was shot with a nikon d3, 600 f4 vr and 1.7x converter if that gives you any clues, oh and it was about 7:30 am this morning, overcast and raining
