That's what I thought, but then I figured this one was a whitethroat and the other one might be something different...

The beak is a bit long for a whitethroat, is it maybe a warbler ?

whitethroats are a member of the 'sylvia' family of warblers.
 
No.1 is a male whitethroat and the second one is a juvenile and both are indeed warblers. :) One of my favourite birds that I've spent a lot of time watching this year.
