Well im loving seeing and photographing bugs and flowers at the moment.
However im struggling with ID of some of these.

Spending lots of time rooting around Nettle banks at the moment, as they seem to be good places to find wee beasties.

Heres one i have not been able to ID yet, very attractive IMO.

Sorry its a bit OOF, hope someone can help with the ID.

Nice shot Brian, looks like one of the fruit flies maybe Euaresta sp
 
Ohh not looking good for this guy, posted it in a few sites and so far only AJ has offered any clue,

Certainly looks like it may be related to the fruit flies but so far nowts come close.
 
Brian you could try diptera.info, that's the place to get an accurate id. Could be one of the picture wing flies also.

Well i now no this belongs to the picture wing fly group as yet cant get it down to an individual species.
