Can you Identify this Leica?

A friend has asked me to identify it.

That is what the serial number indicates. IIIf with delay mechanism.

It's obviously a 111f cheap Russian copy, they are illegal in the UK but I will take it off your mates hands and hide it for him!

Lovely camera. I have been after one in that condition for ages.

Based on the serial number it's a 1954 Leica IIIf Red Dial Self Timer, sometimes called the Leica IIIf RD ST. Red dial comes from the colour of the 0-20 numbers on the dial below the shutter speed knob, self timer should be obvious.
