I started out on film some years ago but haven't shot any for a long time with everything going digital now so dug out the film camera and shot a roll of 35mm Ilford HP5 plus recently, a few of my favourites, far from perfect but thought I'd share them as the film and conventional part of the site is one of the most interesting sections.

All straight from the camera (except the watermark).

Really lke the 2nd one, it's a cracker! Grain looks pretty well controlled too.

Great shots I like the tone in the first 2.

Thanks

did you process and print yourself

They were processed and scanned by Ilford lab direct, I haven't got the gear to do it myself although if i do any more I might gat a process kit, think they can be picked up for the price of a few lab processes.

I like the last one especially.
Ilford HP5 is usually my personal choice of film!

I love the contrast of HP5, the second shot has worked particularly well, i'd probably clone out the white marks on the left and right of the frame though.

I'm not sure on the last pic, did you try any other angles to get some dof on the writing?

if you check the urban and architecture sub forum there's a set there i posted 2 days ago that was off my first roll of HP5.
