I sent a photo off to DSCL last night, and i think i may have resized it too big.

Its for an 18x12 @ 300dpi, and i resized it to something like 7000 on the long edge when it should be 5400X3600. I've had an email saying the print is on its way, now i just have to wait and see if i have 2/3 of the photo printed:LOL:

Im so impatient sometimes:bonk:

how much was it?
just so we can all have a wee titter about the money side as well

As long as it is the right ratio I cant see you will have a problem.

Ah it was only a fiver ;), i used Aldi before, but tried DSCL because i want to see what the lustre is like.

But it does say on the website that images must be sized to the correct output size:rules:

Oh well, hopefully an understanding generous person was on duty at the time and they fixed it for me.:D

Print's turned up and is fine! In fact its more than fine, it looks great. Colour, brightness and contrast are bang on, look exactly the same as on my monitor, which is only calibrated via a website chart (my eyes must be pretty good then:LOL:)

DSCL all the way for me now.(y)

I did exactly the same with my first print from them - I'd got it set to pixels per cm instead of inches, and yes it came out perfectly!
