Yes it's true. Been following many threads about the Nikon Darkstar 700.
Popped into local Jessops to have a play but didn't buy.
Thought I'd console myself with a used 24-70 2.8 for my Canon when I saw a used Nikkor 28-70 2.8 at fabulous price. Bought that then found a very good used D700 at £1300. Had to have it.
On postman watch from tomorrow...peeing myself with excitement !
Better get and list my Canon gear. !
