My 18-200mm Sigma died recently, the autofocus just kinda stopped working and it pretended my battery was dead every time I attached the lens...

So I went into Jessops today, which was where I got it from, and asked them what was wrong. The guy said he couldn't see any signs of damage and didn't know why it wasn't working. He popped over to the lens cabinet pulled out a brand new one and said 'there you go!' and that was that.

In and out in 5 minutes :D

sounds like a result
one up for Jessops!

Awesome. I must admit whenever I use Jessops they are very good. :)

They aren't the cheapest, and the staff aren't very knowledgeable in my experience....but they've always done the basics right in terms of customer service well for me.

My friends 18-200 sig died on her the other day. wiiierd

might just tell her to do the same

I had this kind of service when the flash on my 400D stopped working. The guy had a look and promptly swapped it for a new body. Occasionally they are competitive price wise and the service has been good so far :)

What DIE

:D

When I got my D40 from them, there was a HUGE dust bunny on the sensor. Showed up in every shot. I took it back to the shop and he gave me another one, no questions.
