I used to use the Photos app on Windows 10 to import images from my iPhone XR but it seems to have stopped working recently.
Windows 10 is fully up to date (version 1909) & the iPhone is running IOS 13.4.
I connect the iPhone to my Windows 10 system via cable, unlock the iPhone and launch the Photos app. I then select import from USB device and the app finds a number of images (>4000) before it freezes. Everything else on the laptop continues working, as does the iPhone.
I suspect that a recent Windows or IOS update has broken something. Any suggestions?
