Insect macros

Here are some macro shots I took on Sunday. I have only tried insect macros once before, so I havent much experience.

I thought I would share them with you for your enjoyment and maybe some critque/comments.

All pictures are taken with the D70 and Sigma 70-300 APO. Most are at 200mm, with an aperture of around 5.6 or 6.3.

The last one is my favourite. I love the effect of the angle. I also like No. 4

I think the last one stands out too. Very good.

I commented elsewhere Joe, but as before I think the composition on most of these is very good. The only difficulty is most of them aren't quite sharp enough but given that you were handholding are very creditable indeed

Number 5 is the pick and number 6 is very similar to one I took recently
